This ring is bigger than I expected. The three stones are bead set on a metal collar. The setting has very substantial prongs. The collar serves to make the diamonds appear larger. The prongs serve to give the illusion of 3 distinct large stones. The ring looks like a 1cttw. While wearing, you don't see the collar, but you definitely see the prongs. The look of the diamonds are different than if it were actually 3 large stones. Even though it's an illusion ring, it doesn't look like 3 large stones to me. The diamond and metal collar combination gives a glittery, sort of paved look. The baguettes are hardly noticeable. Too bad, because they're nice baguettes.

The diamonds are white, sparkling and have fire. Absolutely, no hint of yellow tinge or dark carbon spots. This seller actually has some nice quality jewelry. I've purchased a few pieces from them. The workmanship is excellent, and all the diamonds are beautiful....better than stated in product description. Often inexpensive diamond/silver jewelry looks cheap and of poor quality. Of the rings I've purchased from D-Gold, this is my least favorite, but the quality is there. Their platinum plated rings look just like platinum. They do a even better job with the plating than the QVC Epiphany line.

The band looks great. The photo is accurate. There's heart shaped scroll work on the setting. The finish on the silver is done very well. The band is not hollow. I would have preferred the 3 small stones set without the collar and all those prongs. Still, I do like this ring, especially paired with another one. There's a mild bling factor going on. One last note, the substantial prongs can catch on clothing.

I bought this ring for my girlfriend this past Valentine's day. I think its well-priced and makes a great surprise gift.

-The silver/platinum is very shiny
-The size was perfect
-The setting and baguettes seem well made
-The diamonds are good quality**

*Now this is the only thing you should know: The diamonds are tiny. But you can't expect to get some big rocks at this price. This being said, the setting for each rock is very well designed to make it look like part of the diamond. Overall, it creates an illusion of having 3 decent size stones.

Some good bling for the buck.

My husband bought me this ring and I just love it. I have little hands and it fits perfect and its dainty and small. Its just want I have been wanting. The derlivery was earlier than what they estimated. They said that it would be delivered between the 25 and the 28 and I got it on the 24th. I would recommend this ring if you are planning something special for your sweetie. I promise you she will love it.
